Named after the picturesque beach on the west coast of New Zealand, which is known and loved for its dark sand and good surfing conditions, the Piha cardigan is a cover-up that puts you in the limelight in a particularly casual way and also gives you a sexy look. The combination of two openwork patterns in an ajour knit style gives the Piha an airy striped pattern that makes it the perfect garment, especially in warm temperatures. The Piha is cut like a straight poncho that is closed at the front and reaches down to the knee. Its short, mid-length sleeves are the result of the width of the fabric. A particularly sophisticated detail of this cover-up is the lacing at the side, which loosely connects the front and back under the armpits and gives you plenty of freedom of movement.
